In-Laws
My in-laws are on a cruise to Hawaii, and their cruise ship is currently on a day excursion.
Where do they go?
Wal-Mart.
For the record, this is not an aberration. Once we were all in New Orleans together and they decided we would go eat at Denny’s.
Wal-Mart in Hawaii and Denny’s in New Orleans. My in-laws ARE red-state America.

Glen!!! Hey! What’s up? How are things in Cali???? It looks pretty promising that Jenny and I, along with Bill will be in Cali this fall doing recruitment and promo.…we’re just a little excited!!!!!! Anyway, thought I’d give you a shout out.…..Oh yeah, anymore dating tips for Jen? Haha.….I mean, keep your eyes open for XA guys to hook her up with while we’re out there.… (She’d kill me right now if she knew I was writing all of this…oh well.)

There’s something comforting about going anywhere in the world and finding something you’re familiar with — a Wal-Mart, a McDonald’s, a Starbucks.
Then again, there’s something disconcerting about it, too.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I am still planning on coming to Cali (eventually) and that I got a permanent job (with benefits) in the World Missions department! Yay! Talk to you soon! Love you guys!
