Our leaders are shaped in Stanford\u2019s lecture halls. One scholar estimates that 54 percent of the nation\u2019s corporate leaders and 42 percent of government leaders today graduated from Stanford or one of eleven other highly selective universities (<a href=\"http:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/wordpress\/archives\/2008\/03\/19\/notes-from-faith-in-the-halls-of-power\">see a little more about that<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s not just America that Stanford influences \u2013 roughly 1\/5 of the students are from another country (about <a href=\"http:\/\/facts.stanford.edu\/undergraduate.html\">10% of the undergrads<\/a> and about <a href=\"http:\/\/facts.stanford.edu\/graduate.html\">1\/3 of the grad students<\/a>), and the two most represented nations are China and&nbsp;India.<\/p>\n<p>Today they learn, and tomorrow they lead.
