Our lead\u00aders are shaped in Stanford\u2019s lec\u00adture halls. One schol\u00adar esti\u00admates that 54 per\u00adcent of the nation\u2019s cor\u00adpo\u00adrate lead\u00aders and 42 per\u00adcent of gov\u00adern\u00adment lead\u00aders today grad\u00adu\u00adat\u00aded from Stan\u00adford or one of eleven oth\u00ader high\u00adly selec\u00adtive uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties (see a lit\u00adtle more about that<\/a>).<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s not just Amer\u00adi\u00adca that Stan\u00adford influ\u00adences \u2013 rough\u00adly 1\/5 of the stu\u00addents are from anoth\u00ader coun\u00adtry (about 10% of the under\u00adgrads<\/a> and about 1\/3 of the grad stu\u00addents<\/a>), and the two most rep\u00adre\u00adsent\u00aded nations are Chi\u00adna and India.<\/p>\n
