What I want to know is\u2013how in the world did we fail to attain the num\u00adber one spot? <\/p>\n<p>In any event, the Stan\u00adford Dai\u00adly has a <a href=\"http:\/\/daily.stanford.org\/tempo?page=content&amp;id=9193&amp;repository=0001_article\">some\u00adwhat tounge-in-cheek (yet appre\u00adcia\u00adtive) response<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Unfor\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly, I was unable to find the orig\u00adi\u00adnal arti\u00adcle online. Here\u2019s the Stan\u00adford Dai\u00adly\u2019s sum\u00adma\u00adry:<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cStan\u00adford rev\u00adels in its rep as the best of the West, and even more impor\u00adtant \u2014 what oth\u00ader school can boast its own cam\u00adpus mall!\u201d the arti\u00adcle said. \u201cStress relief is big on this cam\u00adpus of noto\u00adri\u00adous over\u00adachiev\u00aders: Stu\u00addents are aggres\u00adsive\u00adly casu\u00adal, the most pop\u00adu\u00adlar for-cred\u00adit sport is wind\u00adsurf\u00ading, and almost 20 per\u00adcent of those who go on to grad\u00adu\u00adate drop out for a semes\u00adter or two along the way (part of a for\u00admal pol\u00adi\u00adcy called \u2018stop-out\u2019).\u201d <\/i><\/p>\n<p>The mag\u00ada\u00adzine described the cam\u00adpus as look\u00ading like an upscale taque\u00adr\u00eda, and praised the warm weath\u00ader, the sub\u00adur\u00adban set\u00adting that \u201cfeels secure\u201d and the prox\u00adim\u00adi\u00adty to San Fran\u00adcis\u00adco. <\/p>\n<p>The mag\u00ada\u00adzine also includ\u00aded a pic\u00adture of biki\u00adni-clad bik\u00aders, not\u00ading \u201cown\u00ading a bike is prac\u00adti\u00adcal\u00adly required.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty was even not\u00aded for the qual\u00adi\u00adty of boys on cam\u00adpus. \u201cAs for boys \u2014 ever see the hunks snapped in the tabloids with Chelsea Clin\u00adton before she grad\u00adu\u00adat\u00aded from here? Hope she left some for the rest of us.
