My favorite was from a mas\u00adter\u2019s stu\u00addent in engi\u00adneer\u00ading who grabbed a cook\u00adie and then looked at the poster next to the cook\u00adie pile.<\/p>\n<p>It was an adver\u00adtise\u00adment for the upcom\u00ading <a href=\"http:\/\/franciscollinstalk.stanford.edu\/\">Fran\u00adcis Collins talk<\/a> <em style=\"display:none\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kolenalaila.com\/?corvette_summer\">watch corvette sum\u00admer online<\/a><\/em>  <u style=\"display:none\"><a href=\"http:\/\/tarabooks.com?the_man_who_would_be_king\">the man who would be king online down\u00adload<\/a><\/u>  <\/p>\n<p style=\"display:none\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jewishlibraries.org\/blog?d_tox\">down\u00adload d tox online<\/a><\/p>\n<p> <em style=\"display:none\"><a href=\"http:\/\/constantinessword.com?barbie_of_swan_lake\">down\u00adload bar\u00adbie of swan lake movie<\/a><\/em>  . If the name does\u00adn\u2019t ring a bell, Collins coor\u00addi\u00adnat\u00aded the Human Genome Project that decod\u00aded human DNA. He\u2019s also a fol\u00adlow\u00ader of Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Any\u00adway, this guy just stared at the poster for about a minute, befud\u00addle\u00adment sprawled across his face. He looked at the pic\u00adture of Collins on the cov\u00ader of Nature mag\u00ada\u00adzine. He read his sci\u00aden\u00adtif\u00adic cre\u00adden\u00adtials. And then he read the top\u00adic of the lec\u00adture again. Then he sort of mur\u00admured, \u201cWait. This can\u2019t be right. This does\u00adn\u2019t make any sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So we explained that yes, Fran\u00adcis Collins real\u00adly is one of the world\u2019s lead\u00ading geneti\u00adcists. And yes, he real\u00adly does believe in Jesus. And he\u2019s going to be talk\u00ading about it Stan\u00adford.<\/p>\n<p>The stu\u00addent said he\u2019d be there, and I hope he does show up. He seemed quite earnest. There are a lot of stu\u00addents on cam\u00adpus who don\u2019t allow them\u00adselves to con\u00adsid\u00ader God seri\u00adous\u00adly because they assume that sci\u00adence and faith are by def\u00adi\u00adn\u00adi\u00adtion opposed to one anoth\u00ader.
