This has been a great year for Paula and I\u2013we\u2019ve had a lot of fun changes to process! Think\u00ading back, here are sev\u00aden things we\u2019re thank\u00adful for:<\/p>\n
1) We\u2019re thank\u00adful for five won\u00adder\u00adful years of min\u00adistry to the stu\u00addents back in Spring\u00adfield, MO<\/a>!<\/p>\n 2) We\u2019re thank\u00adful for a safe and fun move west<\/a> (and espe\u00adcial\u00adly for the friends we were able to vis\u00adit with as we drove across Amer\u00adi\u00adca).<\/p>\n 3) We\u2019re thank\u00adful that we now have the hon\u00ador of rep\u00adre\u00adsent\u00ading Christ to the world\u2019s future lead\u00aders at Stan\u00adford<\/a> Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty!<\/p>\n 4) We\u2019re thank\u00adful for the many rela\u00adtion\u00adships God has grant\u00aded us with Stan\u00adford stu\u00addents, both grad and under\u00adgrad (near\u00adly 25 so far). Pio\u00adneer\u00ading is often much, much hard\u00ader, and we\u2019re grate\u00adful for how easy God has made it for us!<\/p>\n 5) We\u2019re thank\u00adful for liv\u00ading in such a won\u00adder\u00adful apart\u00adment across the street from cam\u00adpus. The best thing about it our prox\u00adim\u00adi\u00adty to stu\u00addents: Kevin, who is pur\u00adsu\u00ading his mas\u00adters in engi\u00adneer\u00ading, can bike from his dorm to our apart\u00adment in about three min\u00adutes!<\/p>\n 6) We\u2019re also thank\u00adful that God has pro\u00advid\u00aded us with what is quite pos\u00adsi\u00adbly the most vibrant\u00adly yel\u00adlow car<\/a> on the plan\u00adet! We\u2019ve got a few nick\u00adnames for this irre\u00adpress\u00adibly perky vehi\u00adcle, includ\u00ading \u201cThe Curi\u00adous George Mobile\u201d and \u201cThe Hap\u00adpy Car.\u201d <\/p>\n 7) And final\u00adly, we\u2019re thank\u00adful for friends like you who sup\u00adport us, pray for us, and show con\u00adcern for us and for our min\u00adistry.
