I\u2019m quite tired. <\/p>\n
We had our final Chi Alpha wor\u00adship meet\u00ading of the quar\u00adter last night. It went awe\u00adsome. Wor\u00adship was phe\u00adnom\u00ade\u00adnal, I think the mes\u00adsage was well-received, and we got to hang out and talk for a while after\u00adwards. Plus we actu\u00adal\u00adly end\u00aded the year with more num\u00adbers than we began the year with. That\u2019s rare in cam\u00adpus min\u00adistry. If you aver\u00adage the first three weeks of the year and mul\u00adti\u00adply by about 80%, that\u2019s a more typ\u00adi\u00adcal num\u00adber to end with. The growth has been great \u2014 but a larg\u00ader min\u00adistry means more peo\u00adple to meet with, which means less flex\u00adi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty in my sched\u00adule.<\/p>\n
So I\u2019m tired from the aca\u00add\u00ade\u00adm\u00adic year.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve also been teach\u00ading an exten\u00adsion class for AGTS<\/a> in Sacra\u00admen\u00adto every Thurs\u00adday this month. Tonight is the final course. It\u2019s a 2 hour dri\u00adve there, a four hour class, and then a two hour dri\u00adve back. It\u2019s been very fun and I\u2019ve learned a lot through teach\u00ading the course (which I\u2019ve heard is the expe\u00adri\u00adence of most teach\u00aders).<\/p>\n But it\u2019s pret\u00adty drain\u00ading. That\u2019s an extra 8 hour day every week. And that\u2019s if traf\u00adfic behaves.<\/p>\n And I\u2019m serv\u00ading on a task force for the Assem\u00adblies. We had a video chat this morn\u00ading which last\u00aded about 2.5 hours. It was reward\u00ading, but also drain\u00ading.<\/p>\n Final\u00adly, I\u2019m sup\u00adposed to be doing a lot of web stuff for Chi Alpha. I just haven\u2019t been able to pri\u00ador\u00adi\u00adtize it late\u00adly. Yeek. Lots of low-hang\u00ading fruit, but no time to reach out and pluck it.<\/p>\n All in all, I\u2019m very much look\u00ading for\u00adward to the change of sched\u00adule that comes with the sum\u00admer.
