I\u2019ve done some tweak\u00ading of the site. Basi\u00adcal\u00adly, I\u2019ve changed the lay\u00adout of the front page slight\u00adly, and I\u2019ve updat\u00aded the way I cat\u00ade\u00adgo\u00adrize infor\u00adma\u00adtion on the site to reflect a refine\u00adment in my think\u00ading.<\/p>\n
For sev\u00ader\u00adal months now I\u2019ve been explain\u00ading to peo\u00adple that there are three key ways they can be a part of mis\u00adsions (aside from becom\u00ading a voca\u00adtion\u00adal mis\u00adsion\u00adary), and I\u2019m redesign\u00ading the site so that infor\u00adma\u00adtion is cat\u00ade\u00adgo\u00adrized accord\u00ading\u00adly. Most of my entries fall into one of four cat\u00ade\u00adgories:<\/p>\n

Infor\u00adma\u00adtion: Learn\u00ading about Mis\u00adsions<\/b> I haven\u2019t com\u00adplete\u00adly fin\u00adished revamp\u00ading things yet, as I\u2019m still think\u00ading about how to han\u00addle the remain\u00ading cat\u00ade\u00adgories and whether or not I should launch a per\u00adson\u00adal blog (where\u00adin I actu\u00adal\u00adly express opin\u00adions) in a sub\u00addi\u00adrec\u00adto\u00adry of this site. I express more of my per\u00adson\u00adal inter\u00adests and obser\u00adva\u00adtions over at http:\/\/www.xastanford.org\/<\/a>, but there\u2019s a lot of stuff I haven\u2019t put there because that blog, like this one, is a blog with a pur\u00adpose.<\/p>\n
\nMy basic thrust in this sec\u00adtion of the site is to encour\u00adage peo\u00adple to pray for us, and espe\u00adcial\u00adly to pray what I con\u00adsid\u00ader to be the core bib\u00adli\u00adcal prayer for mis\u00adsion\u00adar\u00adies<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n
\nThis sec\u00adtion of the site invites peo\u00adple to part\u00adner with us finan\u00adcial\u00adly<\/a>, which is actu\u00adal\u00adly giv\u00aden more promi\u00adnence in the Bible than is pray\u00ading for mis\u00adsion\u00adar\u00adies. Many of the entries revolve around anwer\u00ading peo\u00adple\u2019s ques\u00adtions about giv\u00ading to mis\u00adsions<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n
\nIn addi\u00adtion to pray\u00ading and giv\u00ading, peo\u00adple with\u00adout a call to full-time mis\u00adsion\u00adary work can fre\u00adquent\u00adly do things to help out. With\u00adin the Assem\u00adblies of God<\/a>, this includes work\u00ading with such mis\u00adsion\u00adary aux\u00adil\u00adliary min\u00adistries as Light for the Lost<\/a>, Speed the Light<\/a>, Boys and Girls Mis\u00adsion\u00adary Cru\u00adsade<\/a>, and the Wom\u00aden\u2019s Min\u00adistries Mis\u00adsion\u00adary Bou\u00adtique<\/a>. This is a new sec\u00adtion of the site, as I real\u00adly did\u00adn\u2019t have any\u00adthing up about this pri\u00ador to yes\u00adter\u00adday when I post\u00aded prac\u00adti\u00adcal ways peo\u00adple can help<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n
\nFinal\u00adly, I added one cat\u00ade\u00adgo\u00adry for entries that were rel\u00ade\u00advant, but just did\u00adn\u2019t seem to fit the above clas\u00adsi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion.<\/i><\/p>\n
