So far we love it! Lind\u00adsey and Sue deserve spe\u00adcial men\u00adtion because they each watched our kids part of the day, which meant Paula and I could both get stuff done. And a spe\u00adcial shout-out to Emi\u00adly who was plan\u00adning to help but had to bail due to a last-minute med\u00adical emer\u00adgency (get well soon).<\/p>\n<p>High\u00adlights from the move:<\/p>\n<ul> <strong style=\"display:none\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.philebrity.tv?exit_wounds\">down\u00adload exit wounds dvd<\/a><\/strong> \n<li>Notic\u00ading that a dis\u00adpro\u00adpor\u00adtion\u00adate num\u00adber of stu\u00addents decid\u00aded to wear their Chi Alpha shirts for the move. My heuris\u00adtic was to wear a shirt I did\u00adn\u2019t care about\u2026 which makes me won\u00adder how our stu\u00addents real\u00adly feel about our shirts. \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n<li>Hap\u00adpy Donuts for break\u00adfast. Yum. Bonus: watch\u00ading Ben get a sug\u00adar rush.<\/li>\n<li>Hear\u00ading my name used as a vir\u00adtu\u00adal curse word when peo\u00adple real\u00adized <a href=\"http:\/\/www.librarything.com\/profile.php?view=xaglen\">how many box\u00ades of books<\/a> they would have to car\u00adry. They love the eru\u00addite ser\u00admons, they just hate the way I pre\u00adpare for them. \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Back\u00ading a U\u2011Haul into my nar\u00adrow dri\u00adve\u00adway. Yikes!<\/li>\n<li>Chris get\u00adting scratched by a rose bush and me (for once) hav\u00ading the right line at the right time, \u201cHe does\u00adn\u2019t need a band-aid \u2014 he needs a Y chro\u00admo\u00adsome.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yelp.com\/biz\/new-york-pizza-palo-alto\">New York Piz\u00adza<\/a> for lunch. Two King Kongs and a Large. Excel\u00adlent.<\/li>\n<li>Hav\u00ading our inter\u00adnet acti\u00advat\u00aded on the day we moved in. Sweet!<\/li>\n<li>Our new neigh\u00adbor drop\u00adping off brown\u00adies. How very kind.<\/li>\n<li>Hav\u00ading our super-studly mov\u00ading crew stay to help us assem\u00adble and lay out fur\u00adni\u00adture. Way above and beyond the call of duty.
