Our strat\u00ade\u00adgy isn\u2019t super-sophis\u00adti\u00adcat\u00aded \u2014 we just set up a table on White Plaza and beck\u00adon stu\u00addents over to chat with us. We also give them free stuff (like pop\u00adcorn and these real\u00adly cool eco-friend\u00adly shop\u00adping bags).<\/p>\n<p>The pho\u00adto on the right is me and a cou\u00adple of our hard\u00adwork\u00ading stu\u00addents.<\/p>\n<p>But there\u2019s been an unex\u00adpect\u00aded\u00adly cool devel\u00adop\u00adment. The table next to us has been for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stanfordesp.org\/\">Stan\u00adford Edu\u00adca\u00adtion\u00adal Stud\u00adies Pro\u00adgram<\/a> <u style=\"display:none\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sembrarpaz.com?easter_egg_adventure_the\">free east\u00ader egg adven\u00adture the<\/a><\/u>  (they\u2019re try\u00ading to recruit some fresh\u00admen to teach high school stu\u00addents stuff) and is manned by one of our stu\u00addents, Ben. Ben works with real\u00adly cold stuff \u2014 about as close to absolute zero as human\u00adi\u00adty has been able to get (mil\u00adlikelvins, if you\u2019re curi\u00adous). So some\u00adthing like liq\u00aduid nitro\u00adgen is like hot choco\u00adlate to him \u2014 it\u2019s at a mere 320 Fahren\u00adheit below zero. I know 320 below sounds cold, but most of the uni\u00adverse is much, much cold\u00ader than that \u2014 just not the part that we inhab\u00adit.<\/p>\n<div class=\"g2image_float_right\"><wpg2>65927<\/wpg2><\/div>\n<p> <em style=\"display:none\"><a href=\"http:\/\/brainstorm9.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/1\/avodart-side-effects.html\">avo\u00addart side effects<\/a><\/em> <u style=\"display:none\"><a href=\"http:\/\/brettmartin.org\/blog?the_ballad_of_josie\">the bal\u00adlad of josie down\u00adload<\/a><\/u>  So Ben brings these con\u00adtain\u00aders (called dours) of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Liquid_nitrogen\">liq\u00aduid nitro\u00adgen<\/a> out to White Plaza and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.polsci.wvu.edu\/Henry\/Icecream\/Icecream.html\">makes ice cream with them<\/a> <\/p>\n<ul style=\"display:none\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.pdma.org?center_stage\">cen\u00adter stage online<\/a>\n<p style=\"display:none\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.pdma.org?phantom_punch\">down\u00adload phan\u00adtom punch online<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  in front of peo\u00adple. It\u2019s very eye-catch\u00ading. Mas\u00adsive amounts of fog are gen\u00ader\u00adat\u00aded. And the result\u00ading ice cream is yum\u00admy.<\/p>\n<p>Any\u00adway, the drink for my lunch had got\u00adten warm, so I asked Ben if we could use some liq\u00aduid nitro\u00adgen to cool it off. It worked like a charm. Plus it was fun to do. Extreme\u00adly fun.<\/p>\n<p>That morn\u00ading I had already been think\u00ading that I had one of the best jobs in the world. And then I get to play with liq\u00aduid nitro\u00adgen. While doing my job.
