On a per\u00adson\u00adal note, the last few weeks have been a great expo\u00adsure to the diver\u00adsi\u00adty of the Assem\u00adblies of God here in Nor Cal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Two Sun\u00addays ago I had the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to talk to peo\u00adple about our min\u00adistry at Fam\u00adi\u00adly Com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty Church<\/a> in San Jose. FCC is a very con\u00adtem\u00adpo\u00adrary church reach\u00ading young adults and pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adals by the droves. They\u2019ve added over 700 in week\u00adly atten\u00addance over the last two months.<\/p>\n

That after\u00adnoon, I was invit\u00aded to preach in a Fijian church (First Fijian Assem\u00adbly of God) that meets here in Palo Alto. It was great\u2013they\u2019re a won\u00adder\u00adful church! We were espe\u00adcial\u00adly hon\u00adored by their gifts of Fijian leis to us. Inter\u00adest\u00ading\u00adly enough, they make leis out of dyed tree bark in Fiji. Very nice.<\/p>\n

Last Sun\u00adday I was able to share at Ori\u00aden\u00adtial Chris\u00adt\u00adian Cen\u00adter<\/a> (a Chi\u00adnese church) that meets down in San Jose. It was the first time I\u2019ve ever preached with an inter\u00adpreter. I kind of like it!<\/p>\n

And to show you how con\u00adnect\u00aded the Body of Christ is, one of the peo\u00adple I talked to at FCC gave my web\u00adsite to a friend of his who works at Stan\u00adford. He con\u00adtact\u00aded me and we had lunch yes\u00adter\u00adday. While talk\u00ading, he men\u00adtioned that he had a Fijian friend he was try\u00ading to min\u00adis\u00adter to, and I was able to con\u00adnect him with the Fijian church I preached at!<\/p>\n

How wild\u2026 God has got a way of hook\u00ading things up. He\u2019s def\u00adi\u00adnite\u00adly got a sys\u00adtems per\u00adspec\u00adtive!<\/p>\n

By the way, we\u2019ve been expe\u00adri\u00adenc\u00ading great favor in our attempts to sched\u00adule ser\u00advices and con\u00adnect with pas\u00adtors. Right now we\u2019re preach\u00ading in a dif\u00adfer\u00adent church every week through March, and we\u2019ve got tons of 1\u20131 meet\u00adings planned.<\/p>\n

As a result, we\u2019re already at the 70% mark of our man\u00addat\u00aded month\u00adly sup\u00adport! It looks like we\u2019ll be able to go full-time on cam\u00adpus some\u00adtime this aca\u00add\u00ade\u00adm\u00adic year. Yippee!<\/p>\n

Also, it looks like we\u2019re going to have around 30 peo\u00adple crammed into our apart\u00adment for a Thanks\u00adgiv\u00ading lunch tomorrow\u2013almost all of them Stan\u00adford stu\u00addents!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
