Today I had an inter\u00adest\u00ading lunch with Andy Carv\u00ader<\/a>, all-around cool guy and for\u00admer con\u00adgres\u00adsion\u00adal can\u00addi\u00addate (Lib\u00ader\u00adtar\u00adi\u00adan). He\u2019s work\u00ading on his Ph.D. in Man\u00adage\u00adment, Sci\u00adence, and Engi\u00adneer\u00ading. He also dri\u00adves a real\u00adly nice motor\u00adcy\u00adcle.<\/p>\n

Any\u00adway, we had lunch to talk about God. Andy is some\u00adwhere in the agnos\u00adtic realm (he thinks there\u2019s prob\u00ada\u00adbly some\u00adthing out there, but despairs of know\u00ading exact\u00adly what it is\u2013he\u2019s just does\u00adn\u2019t see how you can choose between the major world reli\u00adgions).<\/p>\n

We talked for about 2 or 3 hours. We\u2019ll have to get togeth\u00ader again some\u00adtime soon, we both seemed to real\u00adly enjoy our\u00adselves!<\/p>\n

1) God exists

\n3) God has revealed Him\u00adself in Jesus
\n4) The Bible is God\u2019s trust\u00adwor\u00adthy mes\u00adsage<\/p>\n

We spent a lot of time talk\u00ading about the dif\u00adfer\u00adent rea\u00adsons I find each tenet plau\u00adsi\u00adble (and have in fact cho\u00adsen to base my life upon them).<\/p>\n

At the end, Andy allowed me to pray a sim\u00adple prayer for him: God, I know you love Andy. Please reveal your\u00adself to him in a way that makes sense to him and is per\u00adsua\u00adsive to him. Bless him in his stud\u00adies, in his rela\u00adtion\u00adship with Glo, and in every\u00adthing else he puts his hand to. In Jesus name, Amen.<\/i> He seemed to gen\u00aduine\u00adly appre\u00adci\u00adate it.<\/p>\n
