My fam\u00adi\u00adly back\u00adground is strong\u00adly Chris\u00adt\u00adian and I have par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpat\u00aded in the church for as long as I can remem\u00adber. But when I came to SMS, I was in need of more than the typ\u00adi\u00adcal Chris\u00adt\u00adian sup\u00adport group. \n done so much in me per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adly through the stu\u00addents and the lead\u00ader\u00adship
\n of Chi Alpha<\/b>. My small group has con\u00adnect\u00aded me close\u00adly with girls who
\n have brought me encour\u00adage\u00adment, account\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty, and sup\u00adport. Rela\u00adtion\u00adships
\n I have built with stu\u00addents and men\u00adtors have been a vital part of my spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal
\n growth through\u00adout this past year. I most recent\u00adly had the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty
\n to go to Inver\u00adness, Scot\u00adland, on one of the Chi Alpha mis\u00adsion teams. What
\n an expe\u00adri\u00adence! I was blown away at the things God was doing while we were
\n there. The high\u00adlight of the trip for me was the hon\u00ador of lead\u00ading a stu\u00addent
\n to Jesus\u2026a first for both of us. I have nev\u00ader felt such a free\u00addom to share
\n God\u2019s love in such a real and prac\u00adti\u00adcal way as I did then. That moment
\n was one of the most pre\u00adcious I have ever expe\u00adri\u00adenced. My eyes were opened
\n to how sel\u00addom I have tak\u00aden the time and ener\u00adgy to invest in those around
\n me here at the uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty. I now pur\u00adpose to be inten\u00adtion\u00adal about impact\u00ading
\n my cir\u00adcle of influ\u00adence. Please pray that God would con\u00adtin\u00adue to use Chi
\n Alpha and the stu\u00addents at SMS to make a mark for Christ on the cam\u00adpus.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
