John Ort\u00adberg is the teach\u00ading pas\u00adtor at Men\u00adlo Park Pres\u00adby\u00adter\u00adian Church<\/a>, which is about two blocks from my apart\u00adment. He\u2019s also con\u00adsid\u00adered one of the best preach\u00aders in Amer\u00adi\u00adca.<\/p>\n Well, I\u2019m always try\u00ading become a bet\u00adter preach\u00ader, so I emailed him and asked to inter\u00adview him about the ser\u00admon prepa\u00adra\u00adtion and deliv\u00adery process (which I was plan\u00adning to encode in MP3 for\u00admat and upload to a web\u00adsite, prob\u00ada\u00adbly Reach The U<\/a>).<\/p>\n After a few days he emailed me back and declined, cit\u00ading a busy teach\u00ading sched\u00adule. I was pret\u00adty bummed. I sup\u00adpose I half expect\u00aded it\u2013for all he knows I\u2019m some whacko\u2013but it\u2019s still dis\u00adap\u00adpoint\u00ading. I con\u00adsid\u00ader him a pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal role mod\u00adel, and so it would have been nice to meet him and fig\u00adure out how he does what he does.<\/p>\n Maybe it will work out some\u00adday.
