By the way, a few days ago I men\u00adtioned<\/a> that an alum\u00adna from our Chi Alpha group at Stan\u00adford is a final\u00adist in the Miss Sin\u00adga\u00adpore Uni\u00adverse com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adtion. Nathaniel Rice<\/a> (one of our cur\u00adrent stu\u00addents) found a blog that men\u00adtions Ade\u00adline\u2019s involve\u00adment<\/a> twice (on March 12<\/a> in a spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal sort of con\u00adtext and once on March 21<\/a> in a fun friend kind of con\u00adtext).<\/p>\n an excerpt from the Fri\u00adday March 12 entry: One of the girls, Ade\u00adline, left the deep\u00adest impres\u00adsion in my heart\u2026 [skipped some stuff] i respect her and look up to her.. she got this spark in her eyes when she was shar\u00ading her expe\u00adri\u00adence.. as if she was liv\u00ading life with such pas\u00adsions~! I told her i was feel\u00ading pret\u00adty ner\u00advous, and she said..\u201cremember i said beau\u00adty is a qui\u00adet and gen\u00adtle spir\u00adit?\u201d I said \u201cyeah\u201d as her group\u2019s top\u00adic was about what beau\u00adty means to them(everyone had to intro them\u00adselves with name and age, and a few words about their top\u00adic in front of the judges). She was\u00adn\u2019t like most of the oth\u00ader con\u00adtes\u00adtants who could be pret\u00adty self\u00adish at times, or hyp\u00ado\u00adcrit\u00adi\u00adcal, or bitchy. She is so sin\u00adcere.. and true.. and so pos\u00adi\u00adtive.. and she is just a few years old\u00ader than me and already liv\u00ading life the way she wants!
