Take the phrase \u201cMore Cow\u00adbell,\u201d which is a slo\u00adgan appear\u00ading on one of the most pop\u00adu\u00adlar of the company\u2019s Bust\u00aded Tees; it comes from an instruc\u00adtion giv\u00aden in a skit on \u201cSat\u00adur\u00adday Night Live.\u201d \u201cNot every\u00adone saw that episode, so the peo\u00adple who did see it think it is that much cool\u00ader because nobody else knows,\u201d Josh said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>and<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Josh, of CollegeHumor.com, is hap\u00adpy to point out that his site has sur\u00adpassed The Onion in traf\u00adfic, \u201cthough I can\u2019t say we are bet\u00adter.\u201d There is a cru\u00adcial dif\u00adfer\u00adence in con\u00adtent between The Onion and CollegeHumor.com: while the suc\u00adcess of the for\u00admer depends on the wit of its writ\u00aders, the appeal of the lat\u00adter is clos\u00ader to that of \u201cAmerica\u2019s Fun\u00adni\u00adest Home Videos.\u201d CollegeHumor.com offers found humor of the sort pio\u00adneered by, among oth\u00aders, Steve Allen and David Let\u00adter\u00adman. Yet CollegeHumor.com isn\u2019t the expres\u00adsion of a gov\u00adern\u00ading com\u00adic sen\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty deter\u00admined to enter\u00adtain an audi\u00adence with, say, Stu\u00adpid Pet Tricks; rather, the audi\u00adence decides what is fun\u00adny, and enter\u00adtains itself.
