It ran afoul with this language from its constitution. \u201cEach officer is expected to lead Bible studies, prayer and worship at chapter meetings.\u201d CLS President Justin Gunter told me, \u201cWe come together to do things that Christians do together. Pray, and have Bible studies.\u201d To that, Rev. Gretchen Person \u2013 interim director of the Office of Religious Life at Vanderbilt \u2013 responded \u201cVanderbilt policies do not allow this expectation\/qualification for officers.\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/2011\/09\/26\/professor-says-vanderbilt-suppressing-christian-student-groups-amid-shutdown\/#ixzz1Z9jALF00\" title=\"for reals\">source<\/a>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Seriously, Vanderbilt? A Christian group cannot require that its leaders lead Christian activities?
