{"id":39,"date":"2002-07-27T22:32:56","date_gmt":"2002-07-28T06:32:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/archives\/2002\/07\/27\/visiting-monterey-and-santa-cruz\/"},"modified":"2002-07-27T22:32:56","modified_gmt":"2002-07-28T06:32:56","slug":"visiting-monterey-and-santa-cruz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/wordpress\/archives\/2002\/07\/27\/visiting-monterey-and-santa-cruz","title":{"rendered":"Visiting Monterey and Santa&nbsp;Cruz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we took my mother to visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mbayaq.org\/\">Monterey Bay Aquarium<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.santacruzwharf.com\/\">Santa Cruz Wharf<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As far as I\u2019m concerned, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mbayaq.org\/\">Monterey Bay Aquarium<\/a> is the best aquarium in the universe. It\u2019s amazing! If you ever get a chance to visit it, you have to go. If they ever put the <a href=\"http:\/\/ce.eng.usf.edu\/pharos\/wonders\/modern\/index.html\">seven wonders of the world<\/a> to vote, I\u2019ll serously consider casting my ballot for this attraction. It is simply breathtaking.<\/p>\n<p>After spending four hours in the aquarium, we were quite ready for supper at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bubbagump.com\">Bubba Gump Shrimp Company<\/a> (yes, like in <a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/Title?0109830\">Forrest Gump<\/a>). It was pretty neat, and the food was good. We even got our picture taken with a Forrest Gump impersonator!<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we visited the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.santacruzwharf.com\/\">Santa Cruz Wharf<\/a> at the north end of Monterey Bay.
