Paula and I loved our first microwave. It had this awe\u00adsome dial that did every\u00adthing. You did\u00adn\u2019t need to punch a number\u2013you just turned the dial and mag\u00adic hap\u00adpened.<\/p>\n
One sad day our microwave died. Food stopped warm\u00ading yet the microwave kept churn\u00ading, lead\u00ading us to sur\u00admise that radi\u00ada\u00adtion was seep\u00ading into our chro\u00admo\u00adsomes.<\/p>\n
So we got a replace\u00adment microwave from a friend<\/a>. It was great, but the light did\u00adn\u2019t work and the food did\u00adn\u2019t rotate. And we often sus\u00adpect\u00aded that radi\u00ada\u00adtion was still seep\u00ading into our chro\u00admo\u00adsomes (but only half of them owing to the lack of rota\u00adtion).<\/p>\n And that\u2019s just one rea\u00adson we\u2019re so grate\u00adful for last night: many of the Assem\u00adblies of God church\u00ades in the South Bay threw a Christ\u00admas par\u00adty to cel\u00ade\u00adbrate AG US Mis\u00adsion\u00adar\u00adies. We and the Har\u00adlows<\/a> were the recip\u00adi\u00adents of out\u00adra\u00adgeous gen\u00aderos\u00adi\u00adty. Dana got books, stuffed ani\u00admals, a play tea set, a stroller, some garb, and an enor\u00admous lady\u00adbug pil\u00adlow (with match\u00ading sheets and cov\u00ader). <\/p>\n And we got a ful\u00adly func\u00adtion\u00adal microwave. No more radi\u00ada\u00adtion-steeped DNA, no more inex\u00adplic\u00ada\u00adble tans, just hot tasty food on demand.<\/p>\n And the icing on the cake? Not too long ago an alum\u00adnus of our min\u00adistry gave me a PSP<\/a> (a com\u00adplete\u00adly unex\u00adpect\u00aded and much appre\u00adci\u00adat\u00aded gift).<\/p>\n We are blessed beyond mea\u00adsure.
