Thought\u00adful Chris\u00adt\u00adian Pod\u00adcasts<\/a>, although it\u2019s broad\u00ader and includes pod\u00adcasts that aren\u2019t specif\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly Chris\u00adt\u00adian.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tonight I had a bunch of friends over and we began dis\u00adcussing pod\u00adcasts we lis\u00adtened to. One of them asked me write up my list, and I thought it might be of more gen\u00ader\u00adal inter\u00adest.<\/p>\n<div>Here are the ones I get most excit\u00aded about see\u00ading in my feed. They\u2019re an eclec\u00adtic mix of intel\u00adlec\u00adtu\u00adal, devo\u00adtion\u00adal, and prac\u00adti\u00adcal.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ol class=\"simple-list\">\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/podcasts\/510289\/planet-money\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.npr.org\/podcasts\/510289\/planet-money&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511280000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGiJi2kv0LT5rHgtP7U2C4Bz2V9HQ\">Plan\u00adet Mon\u00adey<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 this is a fas\u00adci\u00adnat\u00ading NPR pod\u00adcast about the econ\u00ado\u00admy. One of my absolute favorites. The episodes are not long but the top\u00adics are explored in suf\u00adfi\u00adcient depth to be infor\u00adma\u00adtive.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.radiolab.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.radiolab.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHYoxmemLkPgcUvCFxYGJ4qEnArew\">Radi\u00ado\u00adlab<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 a show about curios\u00adi\u00adty (often with a strong sci\u00adence bent). This was the show that got me into pod\u00adcasts. When it is good, it is off the charts.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/campusministryleadership.podbean.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/campusministryleadership.podbean.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHNSmYpmwcrYx8lfJ85vYOHSbvV-g\">Cam\u00adpus Min\u00adistry Lead\u00ader\u00adship Pod\u00adcast<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 two Chi Alpha lead\u00aders, Lennon Noland and Andrew Young\u00adblood, con\u00adduct engag\u00ading inter\u00adviews with uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty min\u00adis\u00adters.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/podcast.xaatuva.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/podcast.xaatuva.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHRdI_WX9435fRpRK0rmcnMzW_-lw\">Pete Bul\u00adlette from Chi Alpha at UVA<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 Pete is one of the con\u00adsis\u00adtent\u00adly best preach\u00aders I know. I lis\u00adten to him to stretch myself. Bias alert \u2014 Pete is a friend of mine and so fac\u00adtor that into my endorse\u00adment.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/NorthCoastChurch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/NorthCoastChurch&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNG7RNYMPDRbyAAZhCR3_LFZneGwng\">Lar\u00adry Osborne from North Coast Church<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 Lar\u00adry Osborne is extreme\u00adly insight\u00adful. The pod\u00adcast is a mix of the var\u00adi\u00adous pas\u00adtors on staff, so I should clar\u00adi\u00adfy I only lis\u00adten to him \u2014 I don\u2019t res\u00adonate with the oth\u00ader preach\u00aders on the church staff that much. Oth\u00aders seem to like them a lot, though.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/www.premierchristianradio.com\/Shows\/Saturday\/Unbelievable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/www.premierchristianradio.com\/Shows\/Saturday\/Unbelievable&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNF5Msro7BHpzDbYaL7HIytfQGMeRQ\">Unbe\u00adliev\u00adable?<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 this one is from the UK. This is a show that usu\u00adal\u00adly fea\u00adtures a Chris\u00adt\u00adian debat\u00ading a non-Chris\u00adt\u00adian. The host is phe\u00adnom\u00ade\u00adnal at keep\u00ading his guests on track and forc\u00ading them to inter\u00adact with their oppo\u00adnen\u00adt\u2019s strongest argu\u00adments. The episodes are long, but if you like the top\u00adic of the day you will be pleased with the qual\u00adi\u00adty of the con\u00adver\u00adsa\u00adtion.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/andystanley.com\/podcasts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/andystanley.com\/podcasts\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHIzhTzuPKjrvjeBnR287aYUKixhw\">The Andy Stan\u00adley Lead\u00ader\u00adship Pod\u00adcast<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 Andy has a tal\u00adent for tak\u00ading big ideas and mak\u00ading them acces\u00adsi\u00adble. I near\u00adly always walk away from one of his pod\u00adcasts with a new prac\u00adti\u00adcal insight.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.desiringgod.org\/ask-pastor-john\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.desiringgod.org\/ask-pastor-john&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEPOS1Ci0o8wmS0oEOEH1hk64005w\">Ask Pas\u00adtor John<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 these are bite-sized pod\u00adcasts. Each day John Piper answers one ques\u00adtion that has been emailed to him. Every once in a while the ques\u00adtions are sil\u00adly, but very often they\u2019re relat\u00adable ques\u00adtions and Piper gives well-thought-out answers.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.albertmohler.com\/thinking-in-public\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.albertmohler.com\/thinking-in-public\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNG_vrzYbqnUegiAuv9OpsAx2QLe3A\">Think\u00ading in Pub\u00adlic<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 an inter\u00adview-style pod\u00adcast with the pres\u00adi\u00addent of South\u00adern The\u00ado\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal Sem\u00adi\u00adnary. The guests are usu\u00adal\u00adly amaz\u00ading and the top\u00adics are stim\u00adu\u00adlat\u00ading.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/bayside-church\/id323460027?mt=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/bayside-church\/id323460027?mt%3D2&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNE3YNaxVDxML_r1z-6I12v6tQK-1Q\">Bay\u00adside Church<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 a large church near Sacra\u00admen\u00adto. I par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar\u00adly like Curt Har\u00adlow\u2019s ser\u00admons (bias alert \u2014 I have known Curt for over 20 years and con\u00adsid\u00ader him a good friend).<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/conversations-with-tyler\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/medium.com\/conversations-with-tyler&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFNzRqNlR9JEgnxpOS7mk_Jx8UPbg\">Con\u00adver\u00adsa\u00adtions with Tyler<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 Cowen is one of the great pub\u00adlic intel\u00adlec\u00adtu\u00adals of our age, and if I am at all inter\u00adest\u00aded in the per\u00adson he\u2019s inter\u00adview\u00ading I know I will love it. He asks ques\u00adtions that oth\u00ader hosts don\u2019t think to ask.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.econtalk.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.econtalk.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNG7iKSm5Jo2rBiByxIi0xkBhrv52Q\">Econ\u00adtalk<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 from Russ Roberts, a schol\u00adar at the Hoover Insti\u00adtute here at Stan\u00adford. I like the host, but some\u00adtimes the top\u00adics fail to inter\u00adest me.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.researchonreligion.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.researchonreligion.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1500443511281000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHm380fY9AOsDzXOI59la6yNkFbbw\">Research on Reli\u00adgion<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 the host, Antho\u00adny Gill, is a pro\u00adfes\u00adsor of polit\u00adi\u00adcal sci\u00adence at the Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Wash\u00ading\u00adton.
