{"id":51,"date":"2002-08-10T22:54:31","date_gmt":"2002-08-11T06:54:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/archives\/2002\/08\/10\/chialphacom-gets-an-upgrade\/"},"modified":"2002-08-10T22:54:31","modified_gmt":"2002-08-11T06:54:31","slug":"chialphacom-gets-an-upgrade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/wordpress\/archives\/2002\/08\/10\/chialphacom-gets-an-upgrade","title":{"rendered":"ChiAlpha.com Gets an Upgrade!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the weirder (but probably more strategic) ministry tasks that I\u2019ve had for the last few years is maintaining the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chialpha.com\/\">Chi Alpha national website<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/reachtheu.com\/\">Reach The U<\/a> website (the latter being the more significant).<\/p>\n<p>Today I had some time to tackle a feature I\u2019d really been wanting to revise: the <a href=\"http:\/\/chialpha.com\/chapters.html\">chapter directory<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I think it\u2019s a lot slicker now, and the clean codebase means that I can add new functions without a lot of hassle. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dictionary.com\/search?q=huzzah\">Huzzah<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Ultimate goal: to create a user login system so that each local campus ministry can own it\u2019s data and update it whenever something changes.<\/p>\n<p><i>Speaking of site upgrades: I finally managed to quash a very annoying bug on my blog. The page kept getting cut off!
