Among all those who dropped out, 29 per\u00adcent say they planned on tak\u00ading a break from church once they grad\u00adu\u00adat\u00aded high school. Sev\u00aden in 10 (71 per\u00adcent) say their leav\u00ading wasn\u2019t an inten\u00adtion\u00adal deci\u00adsion.\u201d\n<ul>\n<li>The title is a bit mis\u00adlead\u00ading. Yes, a major\u00adi\u00adty of young adults who pre\u00advi\u00adous\u00adly attend\u00aded church do stop attend\u00ading church for at least one year between the ages of 18\u201322, but if you look at their under\u00adly\u00ading research about 70% even\u00adtu\u00adal\u00adly start attend\u00ading again. Also, it doesn\u2019t seem to ask whether any of these peo\u00adple were involved in an activ\u00adi\u00adty that they might not char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adize as church (like Chi Alpha or Inter\u00advar\u00adsi\u00adty).
