It was a lot of fun!<\/p>\n<p>Pas\u00adtor Beis\u00ader had asked me to come and encour\u00adage the peo\u00adple to invite their friends to hear Bub\u00adba Paris (of the San Fran\u00adcis\u00adco 49ers) come and preach this week\u00adend at their spe\u00adcial meet\u00adings, and to specif\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly \u201cspeak on the lost\u00adness of man.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I decid\u00aded to speak from <a href=\"http:\/\/bible.gospelcom.net\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&amp;passage=Luke+15&amp;version=NIV\">Luke 15<\/a>, the chap\u00adter in which Jesus talks about the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son (prodi\u00adgal son).<\/p>\n<p>Since Paula\u2019s col\u00adlege room\u00admate, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucm-chialpha.com\/ccf\/about\/staff.php\">Rachel Spradley<\/a>, is vis\u00adit\u00ading with us right now I decid\u00aded to use her in my ser\u00admon. I told the con\u00adgre\u00adga\u00adtion that Rachel had just become engaged to be mar\u00adried, and I asked her to stand up and show every\u00adone her ring. Rachel then stood up and flashed her fin\u00adger <i>sans<\/i> ring, and con\u00advinc\u00ading\u00adly shrieked: \u201cI\u2019ve lost my ring!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Every\u00adone freaked out and began to scan the floor for her ring. I then read from <a href=\"http:\/\/bible.gospelcom.net\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&amp;version=NIV&amp;passage=Lk+15%3A8\">Luke 15:8<\/a>: \u201csup\u00adpose a woman has ten sil\u00adver coins and los\u00ades one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search care\u00adful\u00adly until she finds it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was fun. Unfor\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly, two peo\u00adple bolt\u00aded right away to search the lob\u00adby and the restroom (they even put on rub\u00adber gloves and dug through the trash). As a result, they missed most of my mes\u00adsage.
