{"id":69,"date":"2002-08-29T20:56:37","date_gmt":"2002-08-30T04:56:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/archives\/2002\/08\/29\/traumatizing-my-mother-in-law\/"},"modified":"2002-08-29T20:56:37","modified_gmt":"2002-08-30T04:56:37","slug":"traumatizing-my-mother-in-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/wordpress\/archives\/2002\/08\/29\/traumatizing-my-mother-in-law","title":{"rendered":"Traumatizing My Mother-In-Law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On a personal note, my in-laws are visiting right&nbsp;now.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s pretty amazing\u2013relatively few people wanted to visit us when we lived in <a href=\"http:\/\/directory.google.com\/Top\/Regional\/North_America\/United_States\/Missouri\/Localities\/S\/Springfield\/\">Springfield, MO<\/a>. Now that we\u2019re in the <a href=\"http:\/\/directory.google.com\/Top\/Regional\/North_America\/United_States\/California\/Metro_Areas\/San_Francisco_Bay_Area\/?tc=1\">Bay Area<\/a>, it seems as though we have a new guest every weekend!<\/p>\n<p>In any event, my in-laws are visiting. At one point we began discussing <a href=\"http:\/\/ccat.sas.upenn.edu\/~lbianco\/project\/home.html\">Leonardo Da Vinci\u2019s <i>Last Supper<\/i><\/a>, and I mentioned that there were no chairs at that meal\u2013<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nd.edu\/~jneyrey1\/meals.html\">the participants were all reclining<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That little tidbit of trivia traumatized my mother-in-law. I think she felt slightly betrayed.
