I under\u00adstand the rea\u00adson\u00ading they\u2019re using, but some\u00adtimes I won\u00adder about what peo\u00adple real\u00adly dis\u00adlike. <\/p>\n<p>Lest ye won\u00adder the same about me, here\u2019s my list of enter\u00adtain\u00adment I could do with\u00adout:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In radio, I could do with\u00adout <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/programs\/fa\/about\/\">Fresh Air with Ter\u00adry Gross<\/a>. I just don\u2019t like her inter\u00adviews. She\u2019s got a won\u00adder\u00adful rep\u00adu\u00adta\u00adtion and so I\u2019m sure she\u2019s great at what she does, but I just don\u2019t con\u00adnect with her. And I LOVE talk radio.<\/li>\n<li>On tele\u00advi\u00adsion, I could do with\u00adout <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bravotv.com\/Project_Runway\/\">Project Run\u00adway<\/a>. Paula loves this real\u00adi\u00adty show, but I just don\u2019t get it. Most fash\u00adion is ugly any\u00adway \u2014 nobody real\u00adly likes it except for those in the fash\u00adion indus\u00adtry. Even the super\u00admod\u00adels who demo the out\u00adfits don\u2019t wear that stuff when they don\u2019t have to.<\/li>\n<li>In the world of let\u00adters, I could do with\u00adout the books by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isfdb.org\/cgi-bin\/ea.cgi?Brian_Herbert\">Bri\u00adan Her\u00adbert<\/a>. Frank Her\u00adbert\u2019s son has been writ\u00ading sci\u00adence fic\u00adtion nov\u00adels just like his dad did. One prob\u00adlem: he\u2019s not his dad.<\/li>\n<li>And in the world of music, I could do with\u00adout <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hip_hop_music\">hip hop<\/a>. I know it\u2019s hip (by def\u00adi\u00adn\u00adi\u00adtion \u2014 see name) and all the kids are dig\u00adgin\u2019 it, but it just does\u00adn\u2019t do it for me. I can appre\u00adci\u00adate the bizarre genius that goes into craft\u00ading the rhymes and that are rockin\u2019 our times, but Dr. Seuss retired that genre years ago. Every\u00adthing else is pure\u00adly deriv\u00ada\u00adtive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So that\u2019s my anti-pro\u00adfile.
