M. Suffield, Mere Ortho\u00addoxy): \u201cPen\u00adning\u00adton describes the beat\u00adi\u00adtudes as \u2018divine gold of price\u00adless worth\u2019 that \u2018appears to be only dark\u00adness.\u2019 Like wis\u00addom say\u00adings they don\u2019t give up their gold imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly. They are sup\u00adposed to shock us and I fear we have become over\u00adly famil\u00adiar with them. Jesus is argu\u00ading that flour\u00adish\u00ading, the good life, <em>requires<\/em> mourn\u00ading. The thing the mod\u00adern world wants to avoid most, sad\u00adness, is some\u00adhow a key to a good life. To us this appears to be pro\u00adfound\u00adly non-flour\u00adish\u00ading. The shock we should feel is part of how the beat\u00adi\u00adtudes are meant to work.\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is a wise and per\u00adcep\u00adtive essay. 10\/10 rec\u00adom\u00admend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/americanaffairsjournal.org\/2024\/02\/how-feminism-ends\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How Fem\u00adi\u00adnism Ends<\/a> (Ginevra Davis, Amer\u00adi\u00adcan Affairs Jour\u00adnal): \u201cIf the goal of fem\u00adi\u00adnism is to improve the lot of females, then there are dozens of changes, social and sci\u00aden\u00adtif\u00adic, that could help alle\u00advi\u00adate their con\u00addi\u00adtion. The thou\u00adsand, thou\u00adsand feet that have run into the Mediter\u00adranean, each laugh\u00adter a dif\u00adfer\u00adent splash. Gaza, for me, means <em>teem\u00ading<\/em> \u2014 a cru\u00adel over-con\u00adcen\u00adtra\u00adtion of bod\u00adies, yes, but at the same time, one of the world\u2019s dens\u00adest points of human love.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Why Do You Send This Email?<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the time of King David, the tribe of Issachar pro\u00adduced shrewd war\u00adriors \u201cwho under\u00adstood the times and knew what Israel should do\u201d (1 Chron 12:32).
