It seems many of the bright philoso\u00adphers grad\u00adu\u00adat\u00ading from emi\u00adnent pro\u00adgrams and tak\u00ading posi\u00adtions in promi\u00adnent uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties were\u2014shockingly\u2014theists. And many of them were Chris\u00adtians, bring\u00ading their intel\u00adlec\u00adtu\u00adal pow\u00aders to bear on the apolo\u00adgetic front. These schol\u00adars were slow\u00adly mak\u00ading inroads among the intel\u00adli\u00adgentsia, and their influ\u00adence was trick\u00adling down into the pub\u00adlic square.\u201d\n
