So if you still need to get a gift for the dad\/husband\/whatever in your life, I offer this list of afford\u00adable pur\u00adchas\u00ades that have brought me&nbsp;joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year I sug\u00adgest\u00aded <a href=\"https:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/wordpress\/archives\/2023\/12\/18\/last-minute-gift-ideas-for-the-middle-aged-man-in-your-life\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"7336\">9 gift ideas for the hard-to-shop-for mid\u00addle aged guy in your life<\/a>. Those are all still excel\u00adlent sug\u00adges\u00adtions, so also look there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some things I\u2019ve got\u00adten in the last year that I\u2019ve loved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Get him a tie clip or socks for his fan\u00addom from <a href=\"https:\/\/herosarmory.com\/\">Hero\u2019s Armory<\/a> \u2014 they don\u2019t make licensed prod\u00aducts so you have to do a lit\u00adtle decod\u00ading (\u201clight laser sword\u201d = light saber, \u201cthe hero\u2019s sword\u201d = Leg\u00adend of Zel\u00adda mas\u00adter sword, etc), but they\u2019re high qual\u00adi\u00adty and I\u2019ve been very pleased with the stuff  I\u2019ve received from them. About $30.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I bought <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B08LN5WX71\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B08LN5WX71\">a dou\u00adble-boil\u00ader on Ama\u00adzon<\/a> for mak\u00ading can\u00addy and I think it\u2019s awe\u00adsome. Not for every guy, but if he likes can\u00addy and enjoys play\u00ading around in the kitchen it would be a sweet (heh) gift. About $15 (less if you get a small\u00ader one).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I swear by these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B00PR82UC6\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B00PR82UC6\">Grip\u00adstic bag clips<\/a>. They are 9000% bet\u00adter than the clothes\u00adpin-style that we\u2019re all used to. You\u2019ll prob\u00ada\u00adbly need to watch a video to under\u00adstand how they work, but I can\u2019t look back. They\u2019re sim\u00adply per\u00adfect at what they do. About $25 for a 12 pack of assort\u00aded sizes. I\u2019ve actu\u00adal\u00adly been using these for years, but did\u00adn\u2019t include them on last year\u2019s list for some rea\u00adson.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I replaced the light switch in our laun\u00addry area with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B005WM3ALC\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B005WM3ALC\">a motion sen\u00adsor switch<\/a> . 10\/10 rec\u00adom\u00admend if you ever get annoyed try\u00ading to turn the light on with your hands full. About $15.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Every once in a while I have to mess with elec\u00adtri\u00adcal stuff and get annoyed at those twist-on wire con\u00adnec\u00adtors. These<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0CJ5QF3VX\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0CJ5QF3VX\"> lever nuts from Wago<\/a> solve the prob\u00adlem a dif\u00adfer\u00adent way and they are great. Not all the guys in your life will need them, but if they ever have to rewire things they\u2019ll find these con\u00adnec\u00adtors handy. About $25.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They make <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B07YNCY36R\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B07YNCY36R\">bean\u00adies with built-in head\u00adlamps<\/a>. Guys my age eat this kind of stuff up. Great for when you need to step out\u00adside at night to deal with some ran\u00addom chore that will take both your hands. About $20.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope at least one of these feels right for the mid\u00addle-aged man in your life (and that you have time to get it before the big day). We are usu\u00adal\u00adly con\u00adsid\u00adered much hard\u00ader to find gifts for than our female coun\u00adter\u00adparts.
