We will sur\u00adren\u00adder our souls to the machine with\u00adout a sec\u00adond thought\u2026but are ter\u00adri\u00adfied to sur\u00adren\u00adder any\u00adthing in a human rela\u00adtion\u00adship. It\u2019s like some par\u00adents are pro\u00adtec\u00adtive only when it comes to com\u00admit\u00adment. They wor\u00adry about you clos\u00ading down options.\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The post is pay\u00adwalled past a point, but even the part that is freely avail\u00adable is quite stim\u00adu\u00adlat\u00ading.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/thepointmag.com\/politics\/last-boys-at-the-beginning-of-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Last Boys at the Begin\u00adning of His\u00adto\u00adry<\/a> (Mana Afsari, The Point Mag\u00ada\u00adzine): \u201cIn ear\u00adly 2017, I asked the \u2018sec\u00adu\u00adlar human\u00adist chap\u00adlain\u2019 at the Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of South\u00adern Cal\u00adi\u00adfor\u00adnia, where I stud\u00adied, how I could set myself up for a good life in col\u00adlege and beyond. To say noth\u00ading of love: more and more of my female friends at the time were embrac\u00ading polyamory as a way to grand\u00adfa\u00adther in sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion\u00adships or infi\u00addeli\u00adties, while being told in spe\u00adcial sem\u00adi\u00adnars that monogamy was a colo\u00adnial con\u00adstruct and should be dis\u00adcard\u00aded any\u00adway. As a child of divorce, as a young woman, my pri\u00adma\u00adry con\u00adcern was hav\u00ading mod\u00adels for healthy relationships\u2014not resist\u00ading colo\u00adnial\u00adism in my dat\u00ading life. I had no inter\u00adest in sub\u00advert\u00ading things\u2014monogamy, moral norms, courtship, the nuclear fam\u00adi\u00adly, faith, a clas\u00adsi\u00adcal education\u2014that I\u2019d nev\u00ader had or known in the first place. I want\u00aded a seri\u00adous boyfriend.\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This essay describes some\u00adthing real and under\u00adnoticed. So while we still wait for the rest, here I\u2019ll review the main things that the exec\u00adu\u00adtive orders released so far do, bro\u00adken down by top\u00adic. I then go on to take a big pic\u00adture per\u00adspec\u00adtive regard\u00ading what we have seen so far means for the future of the coun\u00adtry and what we can expect from the Trump admin\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion going for\u00adward.\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This seems like a good sum\u00adma\u00adry. Also notable is their match\u00ading of pageant schol\u00adar\u00adships. One won\u00adders exact\u00adly what they\u2019re up to in just straight\u00adfor\u00adward\u00adly recruit\u00ading a smart, good-look\u00ading stu\u00addent body. This is a cun\u00adning long-term invest\u00adment in their alum\u00adni base, as both brains and beau\u00adty are pre\u00addic\u00adtive of life suc\u00adcess. Not to men\u00adtion that the medi\u00adan white-col\u00adlar pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal can live like a king in Huntsville or the nice sub\u00adurbs of Birm\u00ading\u00adham com\u00adpared to a hov\u00adel in NYC or SF, even if it means giv\u00ading up any hope of being elite.\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A fas\u00adci\u00adnat\u00ading essay.
