I mean, I can under\u00adstand the temp\u00adta\u00adtion to return to some of the dis\u00adcred\u00adit\u00aded ideas of the recent past, I guess, but to revive so many, all at once? And to do it so soon after those wretched ideas rav\u00adaged the world?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n

I think if Chris\u00adtians want to reach my gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion, real\u00adly reach us, they have to promise some\u00adthing total\u00adly sep\u00ada\u00adrate from that, some\u00adthing oth\u00ader\u00adworld\u00adly, some\u00adthing that doesn\u2019t abide by mar\u00adket log\u00adic, some\u00adthing dif\u00adfer\u00adent, divine. Some\u00adthing, for once, that isn\u2019t cheap\u00adened or com\u00admod\u00adi\u00adfied.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n

These aren\u2019t for every\u00adone. But col\u00adlege isn\u2019t for every\u00adone either. Yet we edu\u00adcate our high school\u00aders on the eco\u00adnom\u00adic val\u00adue it can bring, the pres\u00adtige of var\u00adi\u00adous schools, the like\u00adly career prospects of dif\u00adfer\u00adent majors, the real\u00adis\u00adtic schools one could attend and how to get into them. We could do some\u00adthing sim\u00adi\u00adlar for mar\u00adriage. In fact, we could tack some of that onto the col\u00adlege advice. We should let young peo\u00adple know that col\u00adlege is a once in a life\u00adtime oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to meet large num\u00adbers of high qual\u00adi\u00adty sin\u00adgles who are poten\u00adtial future spous\u00ades, for exam\u00adple.\u201d\n
