Here\u2019s anoth\u00ader rea\u00adson the Amer\u00adi\u00adcan uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty is such a strate\u00adgic mis\u00adsion field\u2013there are about 14,000,000 uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty stu\u00addents attend\u00ading col\u00adlege in Amer\u00adi\u00adca and almost 4% of them are from oth\u00ader nations<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The most recent sta\u00adtis\u00adtics I could find show that over half of them are from Asia and 7% are from the Mid\u00addle East<\/a>. Many of these nations for\u00adbid any sort of mis\u00adsion\u00adary work\u2013but they send their future lead\u00aders here to be trained! In fact, the Nav\u00adi\u00adga\u00adtors claim that 7 of the top 10 coun\u00adtries that send stu\u00addents to the U.S. are closed to typ\u00adi\u00adcal miss\u00adsion\u00adary efforts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s impres\u00adsive enough, but I\u2019ll up the ante even fur\u00adther. I\u2019ve heard that every major world leader except Sad\u00addam Hus\u00adsein has stud\u00adied in Amer\u00adi\u00adca, but I was\u00adn\u2019t able to ver\u00adi\u00adfy that claim. What I can do is list of some of the world lead\u00aders trained on Unit\u00aded States cam\u00adpus\u00ades. Imag\u00adine the poten\u00adtial world impact of reach\u00ading the future lead\u00aders of the world today (inci\u00adden\u00adtal\u00adly, I have a relat\u00aded essay focused on Amer\u00adi\u00adca<\/a>)! The polit\u00adi\u00adcal scene is so tumul\u00adtuous that I won\u2019t both\u00ader pre\u00adtend\u00ading this is cur\u00adrent.
