{"id":969,"date":"2002-08-08T19:06:22","date_gmt":"2002-08-09T03:06:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/wordpress\/archives\/2002\/08\/08\/a-deist-contrasts-islam-and-christianity\/"},"modified":"2002-08-08T19:06:22","modified_gmt":"2002-08-09T03:06:22","slug":"a-deist-contrasts-islam-and-christianity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glenandpaula.com\/wordpress\/archives\/2002\/08\/08\/a-deist-contrasts-islam-and-christianity","title":{"rendered":"A Deist Contrasts Islam and Christianity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I ran across a very inter\u00adest\u00ading <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lileks.com\/bleats\/archive\/02\/0802\/080102.html#080702\">rant com\u00adpar\u00ading Islam and Chris\u00adtian\u00adi\u00adty<\/a> by a blog\u00adger I\u2019d nev\u00ader heard of called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lileks.com\/bleats\/\">James Lileks<\/a> (I found the link on <a href=\"http:\/\/blogdex.media.mit.edu\/\">blogdex<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>At one point, Mr. Lileks iden\u00adti\u00adfies him\u00adself thus\u00adly <i>I am a Deist, which means EVERYONE dis\u00adagrees with me.<\/i> <\/p>\n<p>Trans\u00adla\u00adtion: a lot of his under\u00adly\u00ading assump\u00adtions will dif\u00adfer from yours, but you should still read the piece.
