When they left to tell others about the Lord, they decided not to accept help from anyone who wasn’t a follower. We must support people like them, so that we can take part in what they are doing to spread the truth. 3 John 7–8, CEV
Every gift matters! Your financial partnership helps young men and women both come to and grow in faith at Stanford University, and then launch forth to serve God in the culture and in the Church.
The bulk of our funding comes through recurring monthly and annual donations from friends of the ministry. The remainder comes from special gifts (year-end donations, church offerings, support from unexpected occasions such as an inheritance, bonus or promotion). Because Chi Alpha is a non-profit organization, all gifts are tax-deductible.
There are a number of ways you can give:
- Give Online
- See If Your Employer Matches Charitable Donations
- Send A Check
- Designate Your Gift
- Make a Gift of Stock
- Give via a DAF (donor-advised fund)
- Include Us In Your Will
Give Online
Giving online is the easiest way to give. Gifts to this account go to our general missionary fund which is administered by the Assemblies of God.
Matching Gifts
Many companies have matching gift programs which double contributions made to nonprofit organizations, so be sure to ask if your company does. If so, obtain and fill out a matching gift form from your human resources department and send it along with your contribution to:
Assemblies of God U.S. Missions
Attn: Finance Department
1445 N. Boonville Avenue
Springfield, MO 65802–1894
Our EIN is 26–4580872 . We are also listed on Benevity and on Guidestar.
Giving With A Check
If you prefer to write a check, make it out to The General Council of the Assemblies of God (although honestly just Assemblies of God will do) and write Glen Davis #2650299 in the memo field (putting the account number in the memo field is very important as there are over 300 Chi Alpha groups). Please also print and send in this form with your first check (small PDF, around 100k).
Mail your contribution to

Springfield, MO 65802–1894
Designate a Gift
If you prefer to designate your gift for a specific purpose, you can specify how you want your gift used at https://tithe.ly/give?c=4877608 — gifts to this account are handled directly by our ministry and so your end-of-year giving receipt will come from us directly and not from the Assemblies of God.
Gifts to this account are used for direct ministry expenses unless designated otherwise.
note: we used to have what was called a “work account” (689146) with the Assemblies of God that you might have given to in the past. We closed that in early 2021 because of increased fees, so that’s why you can’t find it at giving.ag.org now.
Making A Gift Of Stock
A gift of stock owned for more than one year entitles you to a charitable deduction for the full market value at the time the gift is made. If the stock has appreciated, you also avoid a capital gains tax on the appreciation.
You can read the Assemblies of God Stock Donation Letter or follow the directions below.
If the stock you hold is in a brokerage account, you can easily arrange a transfer to our brokerage account.
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney
1535 E. Primrose Street, Suite D
Springfield, MO 65804–5901
Attn: Doug Dugal
Phone: 417–885-1618
Account number: 573–115706-188
DTC: 0015
And then contact Assemblies of God Treasury Services to let them know about your gift.
Craig Wilson, Assemblies of God Treasury Services
Phone: 417–862-2781
email: cwilson@ag.org
Tell them the name of the stock, the number of shares being transferred, your contact information (so they can send you a tax receipt), and that you want the gift to go towards our ministry at Stanford (account 2650299).
Please also contact us to let us know you are making the gift. You can email us at chialpha@stanford.edu or call (650) 353‑7740. Otherwise, it may be up to several weeks before we are notified of your gift by headquarters.
Giving via a DAF (donor-advised fund)
If you would like to give via a Donor-Advised Fund such as Fidelity Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or the National Christian Foundation then direct your gift to the Assemblies of God (EIN is 44–0577787) and designate it for account Glen Davis 2650299. The check can be made out to either the Assemblies of God or to the full legal name The General Council of the Assemblies of God. Have it sent to this address:
