The response to my April Wisdom post was every bit as wonderful as I had hoped.
Only one person commented on the blog, but we got several more “live” communications. My personal favorite: a voicemail message that said, among other things, “I thought we had a deal.”

Congratulations on imminent fatherhood! It is a blast and will shake you up, gauranteed. Having a kid will reveal more about yourself, your spirituality, and your relationship with your Father than nothing else I know. It’s been an amazing journey, and I take every step with love, joy, and much awe and trepidation.
Unlike shaving my own head. That was a rash act that I have been loving ever since. The trepidation over, I have cool, hair-free days ahead of me.
Now that I’m shorn, I notice other hair-free men more frequently. Apparently, we’re everywhere.
