Actually I’m part of a graduate Christian fellowship group, and we have the same regularity in our membership. Of perhaps 25 regular attenders, 2 are in the humanities. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. My guess is that Christianity advocates true truth (non-relativistic), which is harmonious with the hard sciences. The humanities (at our school, anyway) teach relativism, which is incompatible with Christianity.
